Stupid Gagne

Here’s Eric Gagne on October 4, 2005: “I don’t want to be here if we’re just going to play kids and rebuild. Yeah, I put my name on a contract, and I respect that. But the Dodgers’ logo was on top of that contract—not the Milwaukee Brewers or the Las Vegas 51s.” Here’s Eric Gagne on December 8, 2007: “What, $10 million? I love the Brewers.” Asshole.

Chan Ho Park?

Chan Ho Park has signed a contract to join the Dodgers once again and will be in spring training. I dont get it, why would we waste any money on this guy? This money needs to be spent on the top FA out there. I guess people can bust out their Chan Ho Park jerseys out again.

Pettitte Possibly Following Torre?

                                                                         Future Dodger?

Andy Pettitte opts out from his contract and could possible be heading west. The question now is Pettitte and Hunter/Cabrera or AROD?  Pettitte would like to continue pitching for Joe Torre and might consider signing with the Dodgers.  This would be an excellent addition to the pitching staff. Penny, Schmidt, Lowe, Pettitte, Bills. I might have to reconsider arod if we have a shot at Pettitte plus Hunter or Cabrera.

Welcome To Los Angeles

A message welcoming Joe Torre is displayed on the scoreboard at Dodger Stadium before a news conference introducing Torre as the new manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team, in Los Angeles Monday, Nov. 5, 2007.

Watching Joe Torre introduce himself to the LA media gave me goosebumps.  I still can not believe that he was right in front of me wearing the Dodger Blue.  Every Dodger fan must be excited for this move, I want to congratulate Colleti and McCourt for actually making a smart move.  Brad Penny was also at the introduction as he was watching from CF, from the looks of it, he can’t wait for the season opener.  How about a Yankees/Dodgers World Series? Wouldn’t that be so sweet… bring the rivalry back.

Joe Torre Signs With The Dodgers

Welcome to Los Angeles…Now make us good again!
Joe Torre
He is getting a 3 yr deal for $13 million.  This is an excellent move by the Dodgers, the introduction of the new manager will take place Monday at 10am.  Joe Torre, a future hall of famer, is 67 and brings experience to the squad.  Another roster change that was made today was that they bought out Wolf from his contract, the Dodgers would like to bring him back for a cheaper price.

Forrest Gump…oops! I mean Grady Little Resigns

                                             Good Riddance!

Knowing something bad was going to happen, Grady Little would rather resign then be fired. Option A for the new Manager is headed to New YorK(Girardi).  Dodgers are now hoping Option B (Torre) can come to an agreement with the team.  If Option B doesn’t work out, I’m pretty sure Lasorda is ready to put on the uniform again. Torre should be named the new manager within 48 hours.

Joe Torre, Next Dodgers Manager?

Grady Little is not the right coach for the Dodgers, this guy shows no emotion out there and does not deserve to wear the Dodger Blue. Joe Torre will attract new players to the team and will inspire the players on the team.  (Just Like Phil Jakcson did to the Lakers) Not mention that he will bring along Don Mattingly who will mentor the youngsters. The question now is how much will it cost to get Torre to sign? 5mil? 10mil? who cares, he’s a winner and needs to manage this team. The McCourts need to open up their wallets and pay Torre.   The next step is to go out and steal another former yankee, Mr. Alex Rodriguez, this guy was born to wear Dodger Blue.
