Lakers Season Opener
THE FUTURE
Tonight will be the season opener for the LA Lakers as they face off the Houston Rockets. Kobe Bryant has been place on the inactive list so he will not see any action. He has been placed on the inactive list due to his wrist. The return of Derek Fisher will probably be the only good thing about tonights game. Houston have very high hopes this this year as they have a healthy and hungry duo of Yao and TMac. The Rockets will be contenders this year and look forward towards the playoffs. As far as the Lakers go, they are not looking so good. Kobe Bryant has been a major problem this offseason and his time is running out. I understand that Jim and Jerry Buss do not want to make the same mistake when it came to trading away Shaq, they are taking their time and will only make a trade when they think it is fair. I hope Andrew Bynum is able to become a superstar and one day dunk all over Kobe.
